At MERA RD2, operating inside RDU International Airport, we are currently hiring energetic and hospitality-driven team members for our Server / Bartender position across our restaurant concepts.

Position Overview
The Server / Bartender role is a front-of-house position responsible for delivering exceptional service to guests traveling through RDU Airport.
In this hybrid role, team members will:
- Provide attentive table and bar service
- Take food and beverage orders accurately
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Maintain a welcoming and upbeat guest atmosphere
- Support overall restaurant operations during high-volume service periods

Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide excellent customer service
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system
- Prepare cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and standards
- Serve food and drinks in a timely and professional manner
- Upsell menu items, specialty beverages, and promotions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar, dining room, and service stations
- Verify guest age and ensure responsible alcohol service
- Handle guest concerns professionally and escalate when needed
- Process payments accurately
- Support opening, closing, and side work duties
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and management teams
Qualifications
- Previous serving and/or bartending experience preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Must be dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Must be able to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Alcohol service certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Airport badging and background check required
Schedule
Our hours of operation run from 3:30 AM until the last flight
(typically 8:00 PM–10:00 PM, subject to flight schedules).
Full-time and part-time opportunities available
