At MERA RD2, we are looking for energetic, dependable, and motivated team members to fill our Line Cook / Pizza & Sandwich Maker / Prep Cook positions. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced airport environment where you help create memorable dining experiences for travelers every day.

Position Overview

This back-of-house role is ideal for individuals who enjoy food preparation, teamwork, and delivering quality meals with speed and consistency.

Team members in this position will be trained to work across both prep and food production stations, including:

• Pizza preparation and assembly
• Sandwich making and ingredient preparation
• Food station setup and stocking
• Maintaining smooth kitchen workflow during peak service times
• Ensuring food quality, consistency, and presentation standards
• Supporting overall kitchen cleanliness and food safety procedures

At MERA RD2, our focus is creating unique and memorable guest experiences for passengers traveling through RDU. Your role will be essential in delivering fresh, high-quality food while maintaining efficiency in a high-volume setting.

What We’re Looking For

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Team-oriented mindset
• Previous quick-service or restaurant kitchen experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen procedures
• Reliable transportation to Morrisville, NC
• Ability to pass a 10-year FBI background check required for airport badging

Schedule & Availability

Our restaurants operate from 3:30 AM until the last departing flight, typically between 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM, though hours may vary based on airport operations.

Candidates must have:

• Flexible availability
• Early morning, evening, weekend, and holiday availability
• Ability to adapt to changing business needs within the airport environment
